You are at the gateway to France's Grand Canyon, Les Gorges du Verdon, in the heart of the lavender fields, near to Giono country and on the famous plateau de Valensole. Your hosts are hidden behind the public wash-house in this beautiful Provence village. Here you combine the tranquillity of Haute Provence, the perfumes of the Midi, the thrill of steep cliffs, the peacefulness of a lake, the beauty of the crokery and Alia's welcome. Her cosy little château is out of the ordinary with its tasteful décor, its gastronomic dinners, the large music room. Everything is vertical, with the bedrooms on the upper floors called 'Marie-Antoinette' and 'Louise de Savoie' with their little bathrooms fitted into the tower. One even has its own private terrace with great views. A special weekend package including dinner is available.
