At close proximity to the historic centre of Bayeux (accessible on foot), this house is in a quiet neighbourhood with narrow streets and large stone buildings once used for roasting coffee. Separate from the bright white and newly built main house with its small walled garden is the maisonnette with its own independent entrance. On the ground floor is a mini-bar and a microwave. Breakfast is served here or on the terrace when the weather is fine. The bedroom is on the first floor and is well presented with painted wood panelling and a large four-poster bed. Martine is well known in town and will be able to share her knowledge of the 'real' Bayeux.
